OCN Content Distribution Quick Start

Distributing Multimedia via the OCN

Multimedia files are eligible to be distributed via the OCN if they are either released into the public domain or are available under a Creative Commons license that allows the content to be freely copied.

If your content is not yet licensed under a Creative Commons license, please do so now.

Once your content is released into the public domain or available under a Creative Commons license, please choose an OCN client and follow that client’s instructions for OCN-enabling your web site.

Distributing Software via the OCN

Software is eligible to be distributed via the OCN if it is released into the public domain or is licensed under an Open Source license. The license must be an OSI Approved License that adheres to the Open Source Definition.

If your software is open source, please choose an OCN client and follow that client’s instructions for OCN-enabling your website.
